Community Outreach at St. Paul's UCC:

The Bethany Childrens Home:

The Bethany Children's Home is a non-profit residential home for children related to the United Church of Christ. It is located in Womelsdorf, PA.

During the Christmas season, St. Paul's sponsors the children of the home. There is a Christmas tree in the Parlor and members can select the name of a boy or girl off of the Christmas tree and purchase them a gift for the holiday season. The gifts are then brought to the home by a member of St. Paul's.


Phoebe Ministries:

Phoebe Ministries is a non-profit organization affiliated with the United Church of Christ that provides housing and healthcare for senior citizens. There are 16 Phoebe living communities located in Northeast Pennsylvania that provide care. Two of St. Paul's former pastors, Rev. Dr. Franklin Moyer and Rev. Sidney Smith, were past Presidents of Phoebe Home in Allentown.

Lancaster Theological Seminary:

Located in Lancaster, PA, the Lancaster Theological Seminary is a school that prepares men and women for pastoral ministry as well as other leaders. It is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.

The Penn Northeast Conference of the United Church of Christ

St. Paul's is part of the Penn Northeast Conference whose headquarters are in Palmerton, PA. The PNEC is one of 39 Conferences in the United Church of Christ serving mainly Northeast Pennsylvania.

The Northampton Area Food Bank:

The Northampton Area Food Bank currently serves nearly 300 low-income residents of the Northampton Area. They are currently located in their new location at 1601 Canal Street in Northampton.
