Happenings at St. Paul's:

Sunday School News:

We’re buzzing with excitement as this year in Sunday School we’re heading down on the farm to have a fun-tastic time discovering how to grow good fruits. This year’s theme is “The Fruits of the Spirit.”  We will journey into the pages of God’s Word as we dig deeper into each of these special gifts of the Spirit.

In September we grew a crop of love as we explored the story of the Good Samaritan and learned about God’s Greatest Commandment. In our Mission Possible workshop the children engaged with the featured Bible story and were challenged to find a mission and service friend in Jesus.  In MasterPeace Theater the students watched age-appropriate videos to illustrate the concepts of loving our neighbor and sharing with others. We talked about the Greatest Commandment in Creation Station and painted ceramic owls as a reminder of “Whooo is our neighbor?”

Join us for our next rotation as we sprout joy when we learn about being lost and found.

We hope you’ll invite a friend and be part of the fun of Sunday School this year!

Women of St. Paul's:

The Women of St. Paul's had a meeting to outline the activities for 2018. Our next meeting is Tues. Oct. 9 at 1 pm. New members are always welcome.

A Soup & Salad Supper will be Sat. Oct. 13 from 4-7 pm. You will have a chance to sample tasty varieties of soup and pick your favorite. Salad, bread, dessert and beverages are also included. Tickets are available for $8.00 (adults) and $5.00 (kids 6-11). Donations toward the cost of this event would be greatly appreciated.

A Ham & Cheese Sandwich Sale is Oct. 18th, which is the same day as the Jack Frost Parade. These sandwiches are a delicious, quick dinner before heading out to the Parade. The cost is $3.50 and pick up is Thursday from 11-12 (noon) & 5-6 pm. Look for the sign-up sheet in the narthex or call Brenda Kohler at 610-262-3813 to order.

The Women are also hosting a Breakfast on Sat. Nov. 3 from 8 -11:30 in the Fellowship hall. Tickets are $8.00 (adults) and $4.00 (kids). Donations are welcome. Thank you for your continued support.

Mircale League Trick-or-Treat:

This is the 7th year St. Paul’s will host a booth at Trick-or-Treat Night for these special children and their families. Upwards of 400 children will visit our booth to receive candy/food and non-candy items. Interested in helping? Sign up on the signup sheet at the CE Bookshelves or contact Mindy Does for more information.
Donations Needed:  We need donations of wrapped candy and snack bag treat items to hand out to the Trick-or-Treaters.  Donations may be placed in the Donation Box on the CE Bookshelf or can be given to Mindy Does or a Sunday School Classroom Guide.
